Pruski

Pruski presents his music in various forms: from concerts to gallery exhibitions, film soundtracks, and producer albums. His compositions are characterized by deep immersion in soundscapes, where every sound is carefully thought out and placed within the acoustic space. His performances in art galleries are true sound art installations that harmoniously integrate with the surrounding visual space.

He is affiliated with labels such as Whitelabrecs (UK), Crysalisound (Italy), and Four Tapes (Poland). To date, he has released seven albums in the ambient-experimental aesthetic, including “Playgrounds,” which was voted by listeners as the best album in Whitelabrecs’ history. His music is not only appreciated by listeners but also by reviewers, who praise its originality, depth, and emotional impact.

A recipient of numerous artistic and academic scholarships (including from the National Science Centre), Pruski combines musical practice with a solid theoretical foundation in his work. In the process of composition, he uses a custom-designed modular system, which gives his sound a unique character. Theoretically, he is fascinated by probabilistic relationships, which also become elements of his compositions, adding an element of surprise and unpredictability to his music.

He has performed at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad, such as the Ambient Festival, Freeform Festival, Tauron Festival, National Gallery Zachęta, WRO Festival, as well as in China, Germany, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, and Norway. Pruski has also presented his compositions at film festivals such as the Krakow Film Festival and the Silent Film Festival. Each of Pruski’s performances is a unique experience, where elements of improvisation make every concert one of a kind.

The natural setting for his music is art galleries, where improvised concerts become a unique experience, offering listeners deep relaxation and solace amidst the chaos of the modern world. His proposed sound art perfectly complements contemporary art installations, creating a comprehensive, multisensory experience.

For 10 years, Pruski has hosted his own radio show, “Beat Tools,” on Off Radio Kraków. In it, he presents a series of original podcasts prepared in collaboration with musical artists from around the world (e.g., Federico Durand, R Beny, Midori Hirano). He also organizes music workshops, promoting electronic music and sharing his knowledge and passion with others. His broadcasts are a platform for discovering new sounds and trends in electronic music, making him one of the key promoters of this scene in Poland.

Pruski is an artist whose music is constantly evolving, inspiring and surprising audiences around the world. His works, full of innovative ideas and deep emotions, are positively received by listeners and reviewers, solidifying his position as one of the leading creators of ambient and experimental music.
